Who and What is Twilight Garden Candles?
Twilight Garden was created by two life long friends who have committed themselves to a greener and more animal friendly lifestyle. We also wanted to express our love for the band The Cure. All candle names are Cure song lyrics or song titles. We have 15 years combined experience in candle making using paraffin, soy and gel. We wanted to create a candle that burned cleaner and smelled wonderful without harsh chemicals and was not costly. This year our dream became a reality. We set up shop in our homes and made what we can only call the perfect soy candle. We wanted to thank a few people that made this endeavor possible. Kat Laurel who designed our logo and is constantly answering website questions and fixing our web mess. We also want to thank Joel Richard, he will forever be known as the Paypal guru. We also want to thank our families, without their love and support this would not be possible.
Christina Saha Pothos
Chris graduated from Texas A&M Galveston with a degree in Marine Biology. She currently teaches Marine Biology and Chemistry at Pasadena Memorial High School in Pasadena, Texas. Her hobbies include bird watching, camping, reading and animal rescue. She is also a vegetarian and a PETA supporter. Chris is also a BIG fan of The Cure and is responsible for naming all our candles, finance and operations.
Misti Jones Vance
Misti is a school of life scholar. She is a recruiter and currently working for The Eastridge Group of Staffing in Houston, TX. Her hobbies include bird watching, painting, Amtgard and playing with her young daughter. She plans to return to college in the fall to obtain a degree in Biology. Misti has a strong business and marketing background as she has worked in the trenches of big business for 15+ years. She has also helped start several successful companies from the ground up. Misti is responsible for marketing, advertising and operations.
